Our History

Glenwood Park Elementary School is named for the neighborhood in which it resides. The campus includes an outdoor science lab that serves as an inspirational gathering place for art, writing and science discovery. The natural area is designed and maintained by students and staff to study science in its most natural form as well as inspire students in drawing and creative writing.

Glenwood Park students feed into Blackhawk or Lane middle schools and Snider High School. The school, which was built in 1965, is located in the Board of School Trustees District 3.
